After our trip to Ohio, when I brought back a Dogwood (approx 2 feet tall), I would never have considered the bonus Items I am finding in the root ball.. Yesterday up pops 2 little Red Mable, they will make great bonsais, but I think only one will survive because the root broke on one of them. Then Last weekend, we went to the in-laws, and there I found a pine and a live oak. Both about 1 inch tall.. so now I have lots of baby trees to Bonsai.. Doesn't get much better than that. read more
