So after posting my LJ earlier, aurienne and ironkite were (hopefully pleasantly) surprised when I showed up for our excursion into Baltimore today. We wandered up to Walters Art Museum to take in the map exhibit. Much fun. I have to say I was leary on whether it would be interesting enough from beginning to end...it was. Plus one of the books I've been working on features books with maps from a certain period (being all vague not to give away anything to my readers) and there were a lot of examples... read more
